Important Information About Post-Graduation Work Permits for International Students

On January 31, 2011, Citizenship and Immigration Canada and the Government of British Columbia announced a pilot project to expand eligibility for the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program to international students of select private post-secondary institutions.

This program will allow qualified international students to apply for a work permit upon graduation so that they can pursue employment in Canada for a defined period of time.

The pilot is limited to schools that received Educational Quality Assurance (EQA) designation before August 1, 2010. We're very pleased to let you know that Vancouver Film School is one of the schools selected for this program.
